NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Feb 27

Service Description

Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate. I have a 4 student limit in this classes. A $15 discount will be given for the second person if you bring a friend (when you pay the balance). Classroom portion of class is held in the second floor theater room with stairs and elevator access. The qualification portion of the class will be at 17 South Gun Club. It is a private facility and charges $25 per non-member student collected at the range before qualifying. If you prefer, arrangements can be made to complete your range qualifying on Tuesday the March 2nd, 9:00 a.m. at a WMA range (free with valid fishing license.) You do not need to own a handgun to take this class. A .22LR semi-auto pistol and ammo will be provided for qualifying. (If you wish to qualify at level 4 after successfully completing levels 1 through 3 you may bring your own pistol and at least 30 rounds of ammo to do so, time and weather permitting.) Only people who are legally permitted to own a firearm may register for and take any of my classes. Children 12 years of age and older may take the class if accompanied by a legal gardian taking the class. Registration Closes on February 23, 2027. CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancelation 72 hours or more before class start date and time will be charged a 20% fee off the deposit. You may reschedule at least 72 hours before a registered class for no charge. Any cancelations within the 72 hour time frame before class will be charges a 50% fee off the deposit, as will all "No Shows". If you have an emergency or are sick let me know as soon as possible and I will reschedule you to an upcoming class for no fee.
